The cottage offers a stunning view, and the kitchen comes fully equipped. Breakfast is self‑served, but there’s a generous spread of spreads and eggs. We were disappointed to learn the hot tub isn’t private; there are two on site but they’re shared. With no booking system you have to knock to see if someone else is using it, and stargazing is also shared. It wasn’t the relaxing experience I had imagined, but pleasing everyone with set times would be tough anyway.

This stay was truly a perfect ten. The location, overlooking the mountains, was peaceful with only birdsong in the background. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and I only wish I could have stayed longer. The host was outstanding and I would highly recommend this place. There was nothing to dislike.
