“Excellent experience”
We stayed for New Year's Eve and received a bottle of pressco on arrival, which was a classy touch. The hut had no electricity, which I actually liked because it added authenticity; a stove in the corner and candles lit the room, creating a chilled, romantic vibe that let us escape the world for a bit. A communal room nearby has a power source for charging phones or whatever. The owners’ dog was awesome too—every time we left the hut he’d come over, walk with us to the communal area, and back, acting like a porter 🤣. Overall, we really enjoyed it and found it a cool experience. We also got hot water bottles for the room, which was nice, but once the stove started, there was plenty of heat—don’t load it up too much! 😅 The cabin itself was pretty clean, except for a number of dead flies around and behind the shutters, so a bit more attention there would help. There are facilities to make your own food, but a breakfast bap served in the morning would be unreal. Also, some solar panel lighting around the steps into the hut’s entrance would be good because without a torch it’s pitch black outside, and in the rain the steps become really slippery 🫣
