The location was great, close to the mall. I was surprised that a room booked for three adults only had washcloths, coffee, and cups for two guests, and even at this price point, paper cups were used. The staff were quick to provide extra supplies when I asked.

The hotel sits inside West Edmonton Mall, which is convenient for catching coach services to Jasper. We stayed just one night; both the shampoo and body wash in the bathroom were empty – luckily we had brought our own. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the front‑desk staff were unhelpful. When I asked where to catch the coach to Jasper, the reception had no idea and didn’t even try to find out for me.

The room layout fit our needs, and the welcome treats for the grandkids were nice. All the staff were very lovely. Only one elevator was working during our stay, which caused a bit of a wait. I understand the hotel is “of an age,” but some areas show that age.

I liked the room themes concept, but the price felt too high for the maintenance and condition.

Location. The ceiling fan and the bathroom fan were not working. I found the pillows uncomfortable
