This budget-friendly accommodation sits in a single‑unit building and offers a single‑room layout. The owner is attentive, easily reachable by phone, and consistently available. Communication is convenient, and there’s parking for about two cars. However, the property may not suit light sleepers because the rooms aren’t well sound‑proofed; you can hear neighboring doors opening and closing, and the canal nearby can produce noticeable boat noise. That said, heavy sleepers should find no problem, and the blackout curtains work well to ensure a comfortable rest.

The building’s housekeeper is delightful, extremely helpful, and kind, and the owner is also supportive. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and the bathing facilities are excellent, with great AC. On the downside, the kitchen attracts many bugs, which is hard to avoid. One night another resident locked the entrance door, preventing me from getting in for about 30 minutes.

The room was very comfortable, with a neat layout and a clean bathroom that created a great atmosphere. The only issue was the orange/yellow lighting in the room, which didn’t bother me but was a bit unusual for my eyes.
