The lake location and breakfast were great, and the staff were nice when they were present; however, no one was available to answer questions, the only person who was there didn’t speak English well and was a teenager, so we couldn’t get help; we booked massages for two people but only one masseuse showed up due to miscommunication, forcing us to cancel; finally, we had to ask to turn on the jacuzzi and sauna well in advance, something we weren’t told about until we arrived.

I booked through Booking for 350 zł, which feels steep for a three‑star place with such pretty photos. The reality was disappointing; the hotel and rooms felt more like a colonial resort than a proper three‑star hotel. I don’t understand why Google has such good reviews. Before arriving I asked about early check‑in, and I was told it depends on availability. At the hotel, only after the city staff returned could they tell me which room I’d get. It seemed they should have just checked if any rooms were ready. Other letdowns included very poor reception coverage, neglected grounds around the hotel, and exposed cables hanging from the wall at the front desk. Overall, it fell far short of the standard I’d expect from a three‑star hotel at that price, so I don’t recommend it.
The location was fantastic, and the kitchen menu was intriguing. I just can’t find anything else like it.

The location was great, the food was very good, and the rooms were spotless. The owners were very polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the room still reminded me of past times: no air‑conditioning and a tiny window. After the renovation, it should be much better.
