The price‑quality ratio for the island is good. The place was clean, even though I had read negative reviews, but they seemed to have fixed the issues. You just have to keep an eye on it before you leave. The lounge isn’t very comfortable for staying.

The location is quiet and comfortable, right in the middle of the island and close to Ponta Delgada’s center. The house toilet didn’t drain, so it was impossible to use.

The place is spacious and every room comes with a fan. From day one the toilet was already clogged, I mentioned it but nothing was fixed. The beds were uncomfortable, and there were cockroaches in the kitchen; they even put products on the sink cabinet to get rid of them.

There’s plenty of space, a well‑equipped kitchen, and the area is mostly quiet, though the street in front of the apartment is busy and can get noisy at night. Parking is below the building. The hosts communicate through an AI bot that asks for a video of any issue and replies quickly. The rooms aren’t huge, but the house itself has a good amount of space. The old building gives off a stale smell right after you enter, and the toilet isn’t fully functional—it keeps clogging. The patio behind the house is concrete, with no garden furniture, so you can’t really spend time there—just hang laundry. There’s no air conditioning, but each room has a fan. The internet was weak. We couldn’t find the place; the instructions were insufficient—Google unnecessarily directed us to a turn onto a small alley. A photo of the apartment entrance would have helped us know what to look for.

The apartment offers parking at the entrance, is well located, and has plenty of space. The closets in every room can’t be used, the toilet was jammed from the first day, and cockroaches appeared daily. One day they even crawled into the sink with the clean dishes.
