They delivered the beds as promised and the staff – kitchen aide, handyman, and front desk – were all very helpful and kind. However, the rooms needed a lot of improvement for what I paid; it wasn’t worth it. We had just come from a well‑maintained, secured villa in Pansol that had four rooms, a large heated pool, a functioning kitchen and utensils, and its own garage, for half the price via Airbnb! I booked through an unknown platform and our accommodation in Palm Rose was not received by the hotel; we had to call the hotel through their Facebook account. The room we were given had a musty/moldy smell, the bathroom was always flooded because the faucets or plumbing were old or not checked before guests arrived, the bedcover sheets were stained, and the beachfront had broken glass in the sand that forced us to vacate the place early and move to a nearby beach that offered day passes and had cleaner white sand. Managing our expectations is fine if the price of our booking was inexpensive, but we should have gotten a better place for what we paid!
