“Ein Lichtblick für Neapel”

The hotel sits high up in Vomero, making it much quieter than the city centre, and you can reach it in 20‑30 minutes by the cheap Metro line 1, “Rione Alto.” The building is very clean and well maintained. There’s an open parking lot secured by a gate for €15 a day. The air‑conditioning could be set individually, and the efficient ventilation in the windowless bathroom worked well. The rooms, windows and doors were well insulated, so we heard nothing from outside. The breakfast buffet was above average and offered everything for the very international guests, so the value for money is spot on. On the second day we encountered a grumpy waiter in the breakfast room who unsolicitedly told us how terrible some guests are.

“Great location for a little quiet after the noise of central Naples.”

It’s a little farther from central Naples but still close to a metro stop. It’s lovely and quiet at night, though there are a few places to grab a bite or drink after a hectic day in the city centre. The staff are lovely and the hospitality is great.

We stayed at the hotel for just one night and were disappointed we couldn’t stay longer. The staff welcomed us with extreme kindness and friendliness, and the room was spotless, very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was also very generous. The area is quiet but served by a nearby metro, so we could leave our car in the hotel parking and explore Naples by public transport. Nothing negative to report.
