The room was beautiful and offered a view over the lake.
“Mágico y placentero”
Honestly, I loved it. It was very cold outside, but the room was naturally tempered, the view was amazing, and the bed was huge and warm for a solo traveler like me. The breakfast was quite complete, and when I left earlier than the usual breakfast time, Mr. Carlos arranged a snack for me—very grateful! Then there was a blackout across all of Copacabana, which made seeing the lake’s vastness in the dark even more magical. The youngest receptionist didn’t help me with my luggage up the stairs to my room.
The hotel sits in a very good spot, high up, giving a view of the lake and much of the city from its facilities. The hotel restaurant is great—we ate a very good trout there! The suite we were assigned was also high up, requiring many stairs to reach it. It would be better to stay in a lower suite, even though the hotel is already on a hilltop. Our suite had a glass ceiling that let in harsh sun all day, making the room very hot and also letting in light very early at dawn, forcing us to wake up before we needed to.
The view from the room was great, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service. The shower pressure was a bit weak, and the steps up to the room might be a bit tough for some guests.
“Hotel con encanto y preciosas vistas del Titicaca”
Exceptional views of Lake Titicaca in a gorgeous room. A wood stove in our room and a radiator to keep towels warm were luxuries. The restaurant is indispensable ;)
