The rooms are amazing, with attention to detail that gives a truly Japanese ryokan feel, the beds are incredible, and the food was exceptional for us!

The resort sits beside a mountain stream in a secluded spot, and the facilities are well equipped with a staff that is friendly and helpful. The only downside was that all printed materials, except for the dinner menu, were in Japanese, making it hard to communicate with the staff because of the language barrier; it seems the place mainly serves Japanese guests, which explains the lack of English materials.
