“The worst experience I have ever had and quite possibly illegal treatment towards service animals.”
Nothing positive. This was one of the most hostile and humiliating experiences my girlfriend and I have ever had. We arrived expecting a normal stay and were repeatedly confronted, questioned, surrounded by security, and made to feel like criminals. It started at valet: one of our luggage wheels broke, the employee was polite and suggested a claim. We were fine with a $100 claim, but security got involved. A guard immediately demanded my girlfriend’s ID, even though she had just stepped out of the car and didn’t have it on her because I was walking behind her with our luggage, cards, and belongings. I questioned why both of us needed to provide ID for a simple damaged‑luggage claim. I gave my ID, but the guard kept insisting on hers, turning a routine $100 claim into a confrontational exchange. Eventually we handed over both IDs to end the argument. At one point, four guards were standing around discussing our luggage while we waited at the entrance. We had to interrupt them to explain it was a roughly $100 piece of luggage. The whole interaction felt more like an investigation than customer service, leaving us embarrassed, uncomfortable, and unwelcome. We tried to brush it off, went upstairs, and tried to enjoy the stay. The room itself was okay, but there was a noticeable lingering cigarette smell in the bathroom. Later that night, the security situation worsened. We went downstairs to the casino and played a slot machine for about 25 minutes.
