The front‑desk lady who started working at 5 am was just awesome; she was kind and very helpful.

The Hampton Inn stayed spotless and well kept, offering every amenity you could need. It sits right next to the University of Illinois and has plenty of free parking spots.

The free coffee was a highlight, but the exercise room was a let‑down—just a treadmill and a few cycles, no weights or machines, a tiny space without mats. One elevator was out of order for the entire stay, making waits long, and the stairs were far from the elevator. There was no laundry service, and the air‑conditioning unit in our room didn’t work.

Everything was clean and spotless, and every utility was easily available and functioning. I loved the suite, but on a few days the breakfast was too minimalist with limited spreads; I missed the omelette, hash brown, and bacon that were available earlier.
