Cavallino 10 is tucked into the small village of Cecina (BS) on Lake Garda, offering a very quiet and panoramic setting, away from the busier tourist crowds, and a fair distance from the lake itself. The rooms are simple, small, and a bit dated, but still clean and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning and a very minimal en‑suite bathroom. The breakfast served in the garden is quite good, with a choice of various menus. It’s especially recommended if you’re looking for peace, good food, a hearty breakfast, and courteous staff. The location is a bit far from the lake, making it inconvenient to walk there without a car. It’s less suitable if you want a modern hotel with large rooms or a lakeside view, and parking can be a challenge.

The value for money is exceptional! The breakfast, however, is continental and not very Mediterranean.

The staff were incredibly friendly both at check‑in and during drinks at the bar and restaurant. The room was comfortable, the bathroom small but adequate for two people for a short stay. Great air‑conditioning and free Wi‑Fi. Beautiful location in a village surrounded by greenery. Breakfast was outstanding in both setting and selection! The parking isn’t paid, but you have to be lucky to find a spot right in front of the property. There’s also a higher parking area, but check your car’s power because the steep climb could blow out your tires.
