The architecture is attractive and the surrounding hills create a fascinating landscape. However, getting there is not easy; it feels quite remote from populated areas, restaurants, and shops. The bungalow lacks heating, so in Dieng it gets especially cold at night, even in July, and there were no extra blankets. The front door didn’t seal properly, letting in drafts that made us feel chilly. Overall, the price‑to‑quality ratio is unsatisfactory.

The view from the location is nice, and the staff are friendly and helpful. On the downside, the mattress is flat and uncomfortable, the shower faucet is small, and the Wi‑Fi is unreliable.

The view from every angle is amazing! We had three double beds with white, clean sheets, comfortable mattresses, and a double blanket because it gets very cold at night—bring extra socks. The internet was excellent, and we could even karaoke in the living room. Other guests brought pets, and that’s allowed, so it feels like a private villa since there are only two cabins. Sleep was peaceful, and the sunshine would sneak through the glass window. We got free fried rice for the whole family at breakfast. The location is close to Dringo Lake, which is great for early‑morning views and photos. The hot water takes a while to heat, and the toilet wobbled once when I sat on it. The place is far from restaurants or stores, and the sound of motorcycles from locals passing the road sometimes made me uneasy, but that only happened a couple of times in the evenings.
