The place is pet‑friendly, but the owner keeps two or three dogs loose; they can chase the Shiba we bring in, so we have to be careful when coming and going.

The homestay in Chishang was truly special; the hosts were incredibly friendly, welcomed us warmly, and went out of their way to help with bike rentals, all on a lovely property with beautiful garden spaces. Our family enjoyed the simple stay very much.
