The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome throughout my stay

I stayed in the anix and it was super quiet, so I slept great; the breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly.
“Nice and secluded with a cosy feel. The apartments separate from the main pub are a great dynamic”
The location was convenient and quiet.
“Would never stay there again”
The room was dirty and the breakfast was poor.
“Booked under false advertising”
The area is fine. Everything else was unsatisfactory.
“Too isolated”
The farmer's dog was a highlight, but the motel‑style rooms had stained carpets; still, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The pub was a bit of a check‑in and breakfast was dead. You need a car to get around, though we did catch a taxi to the farmer's dog for £45 😑.
