The room was cozy and clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
“Korte stop tijdens doorreis”
Mooie ruimte, veel buitenverblijf. S'morgens een kopje thee of koffie. Ligging naast een moskee, geen wastafel met spiegel
“Just for a night”
It offered good value for money, with a choice of tea or coffee, a comfortable bed, and decent Wi‑Fi. However, SHARIA LAW prevented my partner (an Indonesian Hindu from Bali) and me from sleeping together in the same room unless married, which felt discriminatory since foreign couples might be allowed; we were also saddened that the rule wasn’t applied equally. The mosque’s speaker was incredibly loud at 4 am, the shared bathroom had a squatting toilet without a sink, and my room had no windows.
Staff friendly, location near the mosque. It might need a TV added to the living room.
“good value for money”
The Javanese house, run by a young and very kind lady I think is named Dinih, had a decent room with air conditioning and a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was right next to it. Unfortunately, if you’re not fond of the muezzin’s call, it’s not recommended, though a one‑night stop while touring East Java by motorbike could be acceptable.
