Breakfast saved the stay: healthy, fresh local food, beautifully presented. We really liked it. The room felt like a cabin sold as a hotel room, the window had a broken pull‑cord so we couldn’t see outside. The bathroom ceiling sounded like a helicopter rotor at 1 am, a loud crackle that kept going all night. Very annoying.

Great spot and location, Saimaa and nature, modern villa, friendly staff, top‑tier food, the open‑fire dinner was an amazing experience. The room was dusty and poorly cleaned. It would have helped to note in the listing that two villas are behind the lake and to show photos of them.

The location is awesome, and the site is beautiful with lake views. It has docks with stairs for swimming and a beach. There are very convenient walking routes. The house is gorgeous and super cozy, the beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is super spacious and well‑equipped. The kitchen is fully equipped. Breakfast is included and excellent, all with local products typical of the area. Puumala is only 10 minutes by car, with a supermarket to buy whatever you need. The dinner was the only issue I would mention. There was little to choose from, nothing for kids, and they took a long time to serve us and bring the dishes. More than 1 hour until we could eat. Also, everything was quite expensive even though it was all very good.

The location is excellent and the terrace view is unique. The staff is first‑class. Small details: The terrace has plenty of spider webs and the room’s binoculars were broken.
