“The best accomodation I have ever stayed in!”
We had the best stay ever; the staff were friendly and accommodating, creating a calming atmosphere. The food was phenomenal. The location is great, close enough to get into the city but far enough to escape the city chaos. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on while traveling. I can’t overstate how amazing the staff were—truly the loveliest people. I also had to mention the two cute dogs that I wished I could have taken home. The only downside is that I couldn’t stay there forever!

The setting feels quite upscale, secluded, and the outdoor area is beautiful; the room layout and design are professionally done, making it feel like a nice vacation. It’s only 15 minutes from the city center—actually not far—and a cheap taxi ride in and out is available.

This place is a real gem, offering fantastic value for money. The property itself is excellent, and the location is quiet and peaceful. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the kitchen serves up healthy and delicious meals. It's a great spot to relax and unwind.
“Wonderful escape from the city hassle”
Uma Residence is great—excellent interior design and concept, wonderful rooms, a huge terrace with flowers attached to our room, great sleep quality, a very cozy and beautiful garden, excellent breakfast, and a very warm welcome from the host. Uma literally saved our last night in Nepal after a disappointing experience with another hotel in Kathmandu. We’ll come back! Nothing to note here.
