The bed was cozy and the room stayed spotless, yet there was no light switch in the bathroom so we couldn’t turn the light off all night; the staff were not very pleasant and told us they were about to cancel our booking because their call didn’t go through, even though we had not received any message on the app and we arrived to check‑in at a normal time (around 21).

Bij aankomst bleek het hotel niet beschikbaar omdat er asielzoekers in kwamen. We hadden daar geen bericht van ontvangen, ondanks onze reservering.

The staff were extremely friendly and never gave the impression they might lose their jobs; breakfast was tasty. One room was infested with ants and no alternative room could be offered. On the day of departure the hotel closed and the other rooms had already been cleared out.

The bar and restaurant were closed in the evenings, which was an unpleasant and unexpected situation because the hotel is located outside the town.
