The quiet spot and heritage vibe were lovely, and the staff were courteous and enthusiastic, but the wifi was poor and the food felt too oily.

The exterior and gardens were beautiful, yet the rooms needed refreshing. We stayed for 3 days: on the first day there was an event, and on the next two days there were weddings with alarms at 6.30 a.m. The property must choose between the peace of its guests or the business of events.

The staff were excellent and the facilities, especially the pool, were quite good; the Newari‑themed architecture was lovely, and the safe‑deposit box was very useful. Breakfast was good but became repetitive each day.
