“강력추천! 가을에 시원하게 삿포로 잘 즐겼어요”
The 7‑Eleven right outside the front door, the larger private bed space compared to other hostels, and the simple yet tasty free breakfast with warm coffee/tea were all great. The rooms are separated, and if you want, you can easily chat with locals—this hostel is famous in other Japanese cities for that. The bathrooms are spotless with no odor, and there’s a fridge. Daily cleaning is done, and the host is very helpful and friendly; she even speaks a little Korean. The hostel sits between Minami‑Hiragishi and Hiragishi stations, about a 10‑minute walk. From Minami‑Hiragishi on the Namboku Line, I‑ON Mall (a large Emart‑style supermarket) is right in front, so the route to the hostel is super convenient. I stayed for 5 days and was satisfied. The Namboku Line is a hot spot, so transport isn’t a worry. If you spend an extra 400 yen a day, you can rent a bike; the host will prepare it if you let them know a day in advance. The host’s friend, a 1‑year‑old white Samoyed named “Moro,” visited twice, leaving a cute autumn memory. Overall, it was a good stay, and the host can speak a bit of Korean.
