“Sehr nettes ruhiges Haus”

We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who recommended a nice nearby restaurant and even booked us a table! The room was very clean and spacious, and the breakfast in the pleasant breakfast room was generous with homemade organic products—there was always more. The house is very quiet, located on a side street, and well maintained. The owner only speaks French, so the conversation was a bit difficult for us. I can only recommend this house! There’s nothing to criticize—everything is fine!

The host greeted us warmly and gave us tips for dinner on Monday—most restaurants are closed that day—and recommended a fantastic place in the neighboring town, Le Gue du Holme in Saint-Quentin-sur-le-Homme. We hesitated after checking the map online, but decided to book and were pleased with the good value. Even though we booked an apartment, we enjoyed breakfast with fresh pain au chocolat, organic cheese, and yogurt—perfect. The table in the apartment was uncomfortable; the seat height to table height ratio was off, but that was fine since we only ate there on Monday evening. The mattress was too firm for me (w,50 kg), a problem I found in almost all hotel rooms.

A warm welcome and a charming place. I highly recommend it. The terrace on the room is a plus for enjoying this beautiful spot. Nothing else to note.
