Located 17 km from Honolulu International Airport, it is a 4‑minute walk to Kuhio Beach and 400 m from Saint Augustine by‑the‑Sea, with Waikiki Shell and Royal Hawaiian Theater nearby.

The cleanest hostel I've stayed in, especially in Honolulu, with daily cleaning, steps from the beach, and plenty of bus lines nearby. The front desk staff were professional and friendly, and there was free coffee anytime plus breakfast. I couldn't enjoy it because of the early morning, but that’s a perk. However, whoever was at the desk needed better training: when a new guest arrived, he opened the door without knocking, and even a female staff member didn’t bother to knock first. He also turned on the lights while I was sleeping, around 11 pm, after quiet hours, and the conversation was at full volume. Also, the room was labeled a 4‑person room, but there was another 4‑person room in the apartment and we all shared the bathroom, which was unclear. The back patio had a faint cat‑urine smell, and the AC was somewhat noisy—just a heads‑up for anyone sensitive.

The location is decent, but the place was dirty, full of bugs, with stained pillows and mattresses, beds falling apart, and the air conditioning was super loud and ineffective.
