The hotel is actually called Kentania, not Kim's Guest House, and finding it was a struggle; the only way I located it was by showing pictures to a motorbike rider who recognized it. I had to ask the staff to move me because the windows in my room wouldn’t close and to request cleaning, which seemed to be done only occasionally even in the restaurant where dust covered the windowsills. The tap water in Nakuru has high chlorine levels, making the toilet bowl brown; if you prefer a white toilet, this isn’t the place. Don’t use the tap water for brushing teeth; buy bottled water instead.
