“Hermosa ubicación, servicio mejorable”
We stayed in two of the three cabins by the river for three nights. The cabins are ideally located on the riverbank with beautiful, well‑maintained gardens—definitely the highlight. Each cabin has two queen beds, a shower and hot water (essential in Boquete), a water dispenser, a coffee maker, a sandwich press, and a cozy terrace. Because of the humid climate, the tarpaulins start to deteriorate, but that wasn’t a major issue during our stay. One important thing to note is that the river’s sound can be very loud at night for light sleepers; I enjoyed it, but some family members found it too loud after the first night. We spent most of our time on tours and walks, but on one night we planned to use the amenities—have a BBQ and a fire pit. Unfortunately, there was no gas tank for the grill and no firewood available. They eventually brought them, but it was already late and we had to return with the supplies we had bought for the barbecue. The grill itself wasn’t in the best condition. For the following nights we already had restaurant reservations, so we didn’t insist on having it ready. Overall, our experience was pleasant thanks to the natural surroundings and exceptional location. Staying one night in nature with glamping comforts is recommended, but a bit more attention to detail in the service—especially the amenities that are part of the offer—would make the experience truly excellent.
