A view from the Deluxe Double Room looks out over the surroundings, and the space includes a flat‑screen TV and free Wi‑Fi. The carpeted room sleeps two guests, offering a private entrance, heating, a wardrobe, a clothes rack, ironing facilities and a tea/coffee maker. The en‑suite bathroom features a bath or shower, a hairdryer, towels, a toilet and free toiletries. Upper floors are reachable only by stairs.

“Lovely stay near Rye!”
Such a lovely spot, a great room with a huge bed and a fan for the summer heatwave (ask for lots of ice from the pub)! The pub downstairs is friendly and nice. Call ahead before booking – that’s my only tip. It’s a bit tricky to get a taxi in the area, so if you’re not driving, pre‑book one.

A charming little pub hotel with friendly staff. There’s a nice beer garden behind it and the Sunday roast is delicious. The room has the basics plus a small coffee pod machine, which is a nice touch. The pub closes around 11, but you can access your room anytime. There’s no breakfast, but there’s a place nearby.
