The Brit Hotel des Halles sits in Concarneau's city centre, 100 metres from the walled town and 200 metres from the beach. Individually decorated rooms feature flat-screen TVs, free wired internet, and Wi-Fi. The hotel offers a homemade organic buffet breakfast, a bar with a free newspaper, and is close to the Musee de la Peche, Chateau de Keriolet, and Quimper.

Sébastien at the desk was amazing and extremely helpful during our stay, helping us explore the surroundings and finding ways to get our bags to the next hiking destination. Very good location, just by the Ville Close and the harbour. Slightly noisy if the harbour bars are lively, and slightly overpriced for our taste (but it was a weekend and it’s right in the center)

The proximity to the port is a plus. I did not like the bad toilet smell that filled the room; we had to leave the window open for 2 hours to partially vent it.

Great location opposite the old town. Helpful staff. Otherwise a basic hotel but the bed is fine and the breakfast is good.
