Free Wi‑Fi covers the property, and each room features a flat‑screen TV and private bathroom. Nearby cafés offer breakfast options, while the hotel arranges canoeing on the Sella River, canyoning, Cares‑area hikes, speleology and transport to activity sites.

Location , cleanliness. The overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke completely ruined my stay. This was not a faint or occasional smell from someone smoking outside. The corridors repeatedly reeked of cigarettes, and the smoke entered my room so strongly that it was difficult to breathe comfortably. For a property presented as non-smoking, this is completely unacceptable. Second-hand smoke is not merely an unpleasant odour; it is a recognised health hazard. Guests should not be forced to inhale other people’s cigarette smoke inside accommodation they have paid for. The smell returned throughout my stay, which suggests an ongoing problem rather than an isolated incident. Management clearly needs to identify where the smoking is taking place and enforce its own rules properly. Until this is resolved, I cannot recommend Monteverde to non-smokers or to anyone sensitive to cigarette smoke

The spot is close to the bus station and offers wonderful views. The carpeted floor was a bit dirty and not the cleanest thing I've seen, but nothing major.
