The location is great, and the house is gorgeous and well kept. Our room was very small, so the bathroom had a tempered glass door, which was a bit uncomfortable.

The place scores high on location, cleanliness, staff, and breakfast. The only issue was that we found two large corner spiders in the bathroom.

This boutique hotel is amazing if you’re in Valparaíso to explore the charming, tidy neighborhoods, small shops, and many top restaurants, plus a view of the bay. They offer a free, fresh breakfast and the restaurants are just a few steps away. The room is on the second floor and the stairs are steep—no elevator, so it’s best for the young and energetic. Getting to the hotel can be a bit of a trek if you walk from the bus terminal, and the final ten minutes up the slope are quite punishing.

I really liked the service and the décor; the place always feels special and tucked away in Valparaíso. The breakfast area with bay views is spectacular and very intimate. The room we got was pretty, but the tub was a bit small. The heating wasn’t working and it was a little cold, but we managed.

The view of Valparaíso’s bay is great. The TV lacks modern technology.
