The room was small but very practical, with everything handy, though the location on an industrial estate was a bit of a letdown; we had nice weather and spent the whole day cycling, so it didn’t matter much, and the shower had no window.

Staying on the water was a nice change, the owners are very service‑oriented and have taken feedback from reviews seriously, and everything is there; there’s really nothing to complain about—reading the reviews tells you exactly what to expect.

It was a fun and unique houseboat, not far from the city centre, very quiet, and the owners replied quickly via email.

A tiny houseboat is a clever concept and its seclusion makes it quiet; the toilet now works fine although the cabin is extremely cramped, yet the boat urgently needs some refurbishment—several deck rails are broken, two blinds are busted, the toilet seat needs fixing, it gets sweltering in hot weather and opening a window lets in a swarm of mosquitoes, so a net is essential, and the shower drain is poorly designed, leaving water to pool.

The stay was super fun with everything included, coffee and tea were available, and it was truly enjoyable. There’s also the option to rent the boat that’s attached to the house. The view opposite the waterhouse is a big building, which is a bit disappointing.
