Bluebell Hotel turned out to be a hidden gem in the Old Quarter. Facilities are basic, but I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The bed was very comfortable, and they had all the essentials for a good night’s sleep. WiFi is reliable, and the air conditioning works well, making the stay even more comfortable. I appreciated the thoughtful detail of having a plug right above the bed—a genius touch for charging a phone while lying down. Motorbike noise is occasional, as expected in Hanoi, but it gets noticeably quieter at night. I slept well throughout. The location is a huge plus; it’s literally a short walk to St. Joseph’s Cathedral, so getting around the Old Quarter is super easy. It’s very strategic and offers great value for the price. I really liked that the owners let me store my luggage while I traveled outside Hanoi—a thoughtful and convenient service. I’m planning to book it again for my next trip to Hanoi. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Bluebell Hotel if you’re looking for a simple, comfortable, and well‑located place to stay in Hanoi. It’s not fancy, but it’s practical, reliable, and honestly very good value for money.
