The hotel is close to the center, but the receptionist seemed annoyed, the room I got smelled like vomit, and I had to get upset to switch rooms; the front desk even lied about the motel being full.
“Not recommended”
The bed itself was clean, but the place feels ancient and the price rivals a nicer hotel; the front‑desk staff were preoccupied selling bus tickets to other customers unrelated to the hotel, which made me wait 15 minutes to check in; the mattresses were old, soft, and lumpy, the room was cramped, and I couldn’t wait to leave.
“Comfortable stay”
It sits right in the middle of town, I snagged a 10 % discount for dinner at St Hubert—almost part of the hotel—and the room was very functional with all the facilities working well, though I could hear people moving upstairs at night.
The location is convenient, but the rooms could use a serious upgrade in soundproofing.
Being near family was a plus, but the noise was relentless—earplugs were a must, and on Monday I heard the TV blasting until after 3:00 am; at least the 50 % discount at St Hubert’s restaurant was a nice touch.
