“Es gibt sehr viel zu verbessern”
Breakfast was good and the beds comfortable; the staff were friendly. The lounge was nicely decorated but very cold. There was almost nothing to see except an impala, birds, and monkeys—just the host couple’s friends. My friend was asked 100 questions by the hosts’ friends who sat at our table, and a poodle was practically at the table too, which was unhygienic; we had no privacy at breakfast. For dinner we waited over an hour in the cold and didn’t know when it would be served. Then lamb Shepherd’s Pie was served without asking me; I don’t eat lamb, so my friend ate it. We weren’t allowed to bring food or snacks into the bungalow, and there were only breakfast and dinner, both of which we waited in the cold for ages. We changed our plans and left two days early; we were refunded the last night after a long wait, which was a positive. There were almost no animals (only one giraffe seen once) and nothing to do. They expect guests to buy drinks from the house bar. The bathrooms need urgent renovation, and the bungalow is very dark and should be renovated.
