“Amazing stay”
We really enjoyed our stay at Garden of Eden. Roy welcomed us and helped with our luggage, which was very kind of him. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and there’s nothing we didn’t like.

It’s outside the city center yet still nearby. The view is stunning, the bed is super comfy, and the place is well furnished. The hosts are great. The only downside is that it’s hard to cook because the pots don’t fit on the whole plate when you want to use both at the same time.

The place was cozy and thoughtfully arranged. The host was communicative and supplied breakfast cereals, chocolate, tea, and coffee, which I really appreciated. The views were also very nice.

We had a fantastic time at the Garden of Eden; it’s super calm and easy to get to the center of Queenstown by car. Roy and Kristy were incredibly friendly, and we’re definitely coming back!

This snug little unit offered gorgeous views of the Shotover River and the jet rides, though the walk from the driveway—garden path and steps—might be tough if you’re lugging heavy luggage. My husband and I loved the peaceful, quiet vibe; the beds and bathroom were spotless, and the heated floor tiles were a lifesaver on those freezing winter mornings. The compact kitchen came with a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and a small induction cooktop, which we used to whip up instant noodles after a long day out. The town is just a 10‑minute drive away, and there’s a tiny café a minute or two away by foot or car, plus a few small restaurants nearby. For our three‑day stay, the place had everything we needed. On the downside, the driveway is narrow, and while there’s a parking spot for our rental car, the road is private and not pass‑through, so you’d have to back out into a tight driveway that leads to all the properties on the street. We didn’t run into any trouble, but a larger car could struggle; ours was a Mitsubishi Outlander.
