They offered late‑night snacks. The stairwell and corridor had a cigarette smell.

The room was amazing - it was super quiet and dark, had a great view, and the bed was ridiculously comfy. There was also plenty of space to get some work done or just chill out, which was great. Only downside was that the staff didn't speak much English, which made things a bit tricky at times.
