Hotel Bären Suhr, built in 1773, is located 3 km from Aarau's centre and 1 km from the A1 highway. The hotel features a restaurant, elegant Bärenstübli and rustic Suhrerstübli, and an inviting bar. Rooms have private bathrooms, Nespresso machines with free capsules, sparkling water, TVs, radios, desks, and free WiFi, with street-facing rooms air-conditioned, and free parking available.

The hotel’s location and the room’s cleanliness were good, and the free coffee & tea in the corridor were a nice touch. Sound isolation was very poor from both the door and the main window facing the street; no staff were visible, not even for check‑out at 08:00, and the online check‑in process was somewhat cumbersome.

Sehr zuvorkommendes freundliches Personal. Helles modernes Zimmer, sehr praktisch ausgestattet. Kaffee-Ecke im Flur mit kostenlosen Getränken. Wunderbares Frühstück im „Bistro“, alles gut beschriftet, toller Kaffee und ausgezeichnete Auswahl an Käse, feine Müsli, frisch geschnittene Früchte im Glas, knuspriges Brot … perfekt - Wir kommen gerne wieder!
