Located in Rochefort-sur-Mer's historic centre, the Logis Hôtel Lafayette offers individually decorated en suite rooms with flat-screen TV, telephone, and free Wi-Fi. A buffet breakfast of homemade jam and bread is served, and the hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Chantier de l'Hermione and La Corderie Royale. Soundproofed rooms feature private bathrooms with shower and hairdryer.

The property was decent for a stay, yet the breakfast rate was high and there was no kettle in the room, forcing me to descend a very steep staircase that was difficult for elderly guests; I also didn’t understand why I was charged an extra 10% when I had received a message saying there would be no surcharge after our room change.

Everything was great: the staff were very polite and helpful, breakfast was very nice, the room was very clean and the bed very comfortable, the bathroom was clean too, and hot water was available at all times; overall, a great stay at a great location!

The staff were very welcoming, the breakfast was hearty, and the family room was roomy and quiet; however, the window offered no view, the mattress was average, and the lack of an elevator could be a drawback for some guests.

The spot was spot-on, super quiet and just a stone’s throw from the Corderie royale and the city centre! The only downside was the lack of air‑conditioning – we felt a bit toasty, but at least a fan was available, which I should mention.
