The place was very well kept and quiet, right in the heart of this pretty town, and the host was extremely helpful even though I had serious language problems. Every detail in this small but fine accommodation was lovingly chosen, from the furnishings to a handwritten guestbook with tips on eating, going out and exploring the area. As someone who speaks only a little French and isn’t familiar with local customs, the parking concept – a good 7 minutes away and not officially listed as part of the address – was hard to understand. With the host’s patient phone help, everything was eventually sorted.
