Lovely host, super comfy bed, very generous continental breakfast and facility for tea / coffee whenever (available all day), the pool area is a delight. Mosquitoes - not that the property can help them; that’s ‘real’ climate change!

The chateau and its grounds are wonderful and charming, and because it’s a gated estate our car was safely parked inside; our room was spacious and well‑equipped, the bed was comfortable and we slept really well since it was so quiet; Catrina’s welcome and advice were warm and helpful; the WiFi in our room was rather weak, but in the dining room below it was strong, so it wasn’t a real issue.

The place is magnificent, a huge garden with peacocks, geese, chickens… the pool is superb; it’s quiet, in the middle of nature; the hosts are very kind and welcoming; a small plumbing refresh in the room would help (shower water doesn’t drain well, the bathroom tap isn’t fixed properly); nothing serious, just a little tweak would make everything perfect 😊
