I stayed in a charming room with working air‑conditioning, though it was loud. The bathroom was fine, with a toilet and shower. The pool was well maintained, and the garden was beautiful, especially the lemon trees. Bari is definitely worth a city trip of 1 to 2 days; you’ll need a bus to reach the center from the B&B, but the stop is only a 10‑minute walk, and the ride takes 20 to 30 minutes. There are a few nice eateries nearby and a supermarket that doesn’t require a bus. Breakfast was very limited: old croissants, a few stale cakes that tasted spoiled, yogurt on only one of the three mornings, no fruit, no milk, no cornflakes or muesli, no bread or baguettes, no spreads, and the orange juice from L' Orangerie tasted chemical and nothing like oranges. The pool is a community pool, so it was crowded; you had to pay an extra 30 euros per day for a lounge chair even as a B&B guest, and it only opened until 18:00. The staff spoke no English and actively avoided non‑Italian speakers, refusing to take orders and repeatedly failing to help book a taxi to the airport. They did give a local taxi company number, but we tried three days to reach them with no success. Booking online also failed because the driver would set the price at pickup. To avoid a huge bill, we took an overcrowded bus—though I really wouldn’t recommend it, as bus 16 to the airport only allowed the first two stops to pick up people, then it was too full. Wi‑Fi didn’t work; we tried the passwords for both the pool and the B&B network, but ultimately used 4G for the whole stay. The TV was not smart, offering only local Italian programs or Italian‑dubbed films.

We used the accommodation as a base during a week in Bari and for day trips around Apulia. Overall, we were satisfied. The area is pleasant, quiet, and a big plus is the ability to park right at the property, which we really appreciated while traveling by car. The pool was a nice bonus, especially after a full day of outings. Communication was smooth and everything went as agreed. The location is suitable mainly for guests with cars—getting to Bari’s center requires commuting, but that wasn’t an issue for us since we spent most days exploring the surroundings. In short, a pleasant and quiet place that we recommend mainly to those who want to discover Bari and other beautiful spots in Apulia and are looking for accommodation outside the city center. The only thing I’d point out is local transport. The times listed in the schedules are not reliable—Bari seems to use them more as guidelines than fixed plans. And if you drive, you need to keep your eyes open everywhere. Local drivers have a temperament behind the wheel and sometimes drive with a “who brakes loses” style. Of course, that’s not the property’s fault, just part of Italian color and an experience in itself.

The pool area is great and in a calm setting. There is free parking at the site. Unfortunately we don’t speak Italian, so the introduction to the stay was sparse. Wi‑Fi is not available. The room faced a fairly wide road, so there was some noise. There was a lot of sound at the door to the room, and you could hear everything happening outside (not insulated). One bath towel and one regular towel had to be shared by two people (they were changed daily). There is a shared fridge and coffee machine outside the room, so remember to bring your own water and cups.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was rustic. The building’s atmosphere dates back to 1878. The pool was spotless.
