It was the most wonderful few days, peaceful, warm and cozy with the most wonderful staff. The rooms are so spacious and bright and I will certainly be going back. The only drawback was the nearest town location, as seniors we love to wander about the shops in the late evening.

I had a turn at home and spent a few days in hospital, we decided to go away for a few days, due to the turn I could not sleep and was sitting around the place at 5.30 in the morning!! The night porter (very friendly!!) was asking if i was ok, I asked for a coffee, and without hesitation he brought me one,. I could not fault our short stay, the only thing I should have done is stayed longer!!

It was incredibly quiet at night, the food was fabulous, and overall it was a very relaxing getaway.

The room felt tired and worn in places, with curtains hanging off, a cracked sink, and worn or damaged seating.
