The first breakfast I had here was surprisingly delicious! A free water dispenser is a nice touch.

The staff were helpful, but although the TV said there was a water dispenser on each floor, it didn’t work until the next day, and I checked out early the following morning anyway, so I never got to use it.

It’s handy being close to the festival hall, but the bathroom was surprisingly cramped.

The shower rooms smelled fresh, and the large public bath was comfortable too; the cleaning staff, though foreign, were meticulous, calm and always wore a friendly smile that put me at ease. The public bath even had drinking water, just as I’d expect from APA. I tried breakfast for the first time and the udon was incredibly tasty, while the mixed juice surprised me with its flavor. The low‑profile pillow was absolutely perfect, something I hadn’t experienced before. Every time I stay multiple nights I appreciate getting fresh towels and a night‑gown, but when I use the foot‑mat in the bathroom it gets wet and I ask for a replacement, yet the new bag never includes a foot‑mat. Even if they hand me a mat separately, it never gets put in the bag. I understand they might keep mats out of the large bath for guests who don’t use it, but I get nervous leaving the room thinking the missing mat could be seen as theft, so I leave notes. It would be great if they gave a clear “please replace the foot‑mat” sign when I need one.
