“A wonderful hotel in a lovely setting”
A great hotel in a superb spot, with a warm welcome at the front desk and staff who were friendly and professional during dinner and breakfast. The large room had a very comfortable bed, and everything in the bathroom worked perfectly, even the floor stayed dry. We liked how the evening meal was presented and the breakfast offered a good selection of hot dishes. The only minor gripe was hearing a fan near our room, but overall everything was first class. Thanks for a fantastic stay and we’ll definitely return next time we’re in the Lake District.
