The house feels very cozy, but the noise in the rooms and the nighttime bathroom drain are quite loud.

The location is great, the house is pretty and charming, and the staff—especially Sepi—are wonderful; we’ll come back. The floor is very creaky because it’s so old, and you hear it every time someone goes up or down the stairs. Right above us were kids, so that’s the only regular thing I can point out.

The room is spacious and huge, with vaulted ceilings, wooden beams, and a large bathtub; the bathroom is also big. The wardrobes are good, and although the room has no windows, it has a skylight. Breakfast is excellent, and the service and attention are superb. The only downside is that when we arrived with a one‑year‑old baby, they gave us a second‑floor room without an elevator, and the wooden floor made a lot of noise depending on where you stepped, even though we had requested a room for a one‑year‑old and expected a ground or first‑floor room.

The manor is a marvel, with a rural‑style décor that’s spot on and authentic. Both the owners and the staff are delightful. Breakfast is carefully prepared, tasty, and varied, set in a beautiful and quiet setting. The village has several great restaurants that are reachable on foot.

I loved the room and the location. Air‑conditioning would have been nice in the summer, and a mini‑fridge or coffee station in the room would help with light snacks and refreshments.
