The accommodation felt warm and snug, and the beds outshone those at my own home! It sits just a short walk from Exeter’s city centre, where you can find pubs and supermarkets. The real highlight, however, was the hosts Trevor and Mary – two genuinely lovely people who went above and beyond for us. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Exeter.

Everything was clean, comfortable, and had everything you could need. Trevor was a fantastic host, giving me a quick tour of Exeter and plenty of suggestions. It was a great experience.

The spot was well‑located and easy to reach. They even handed me a few tea cakes for breakfast as a bonus. The hosts were extremely friendly. I’d stay again and would suggest it to others. The place looked gorgeous too! Minor issues: the conditioner came in an aluminium bottle and I couldn’t figure out how to remove it; it would be helpful to have recycling instructions, since I’m not familiar with the UK system – but those are small points the system nudges me to mention.

Trevor welcomed me warmly and was generous. The room was a spotless, spacious extension at the back of the property, with a small kitchen area and a large shower. It’s a 15‑20 minute walk to the centre, but only a few minutes from a pleasant riverside walk that leads into the quayside.
