“Unique modern cabins with Japanese touches”

The cabins were clean and modern yet featured traditional tatami and futon beds. The sauna, hot spring furo, and cold water furo were excellent. The location was far from restaurants and convenience stores.

“A relaxing beppu experience.”

We had a really pleasant stay overall. The sauna was very easy to use and worked perfectly, making it a great way to relax after walking around all day. The bathroom and toilet were both clean and well maintained throughout our stay. I also loved the room’s atmosphere; it felt very cozy and aesthetically pleasing. The hotel did a great job with small details as well. Things like tea bags and hygiene kits were restocked daily, and we received fresh towels and sheets every day. The staff were very helpful, checking whether we could get a taxi in Bungo‑Ogi, which we really appreciated. One downside was the check‑in time being limited to before 7 pm, which can still be inconvenient for some travelers; an automated system for later check‑ins might help. The pillows were not very comfortable and left my neck sore. The lighting around the bathroom mirror was also not ideal, making shaving or makeup a bit difficult; an additional light or a removable mirror could improve that.

The sauna and cold bath were available. The room next door was very close.
