Mayflower Hotel Malta

The hotel is generally nice, rooms are clean, housekeeping daily, breakfast has a good variety, and the rooftop pool offers a great view. Staff is friendly, especially the lady at breakfast. On the first day (26th October), the receptionist was unprofessional and slow; we asked three times about early check‑in for our 3‑month‑old baby, he said no, and later we discovered he was checking others in before 3 pm. He didn’t greet us or respond to a hello, and our upgraded room with balcony didn’t offer a great view—only a small piece of sea, mostly old buildings and rubbish outside the hotel.

A wide selection for breakfast, sweet and savory, fruits, vegetables. No typical lunch box when checking out early, which meant I couldn't use breakfast on the day of departure.

Great location in a quiet area, close to the sea and especially near the bus terminus. The room, although spacious, had some defects such as the window that, even when closed, let in drafts, or the toilet that dripped. These details need improvement.

“Exceptional!”

Location was fantastic. Rooms were exceptionally comfortable and clean, staff were lovely and the breakfast was amazing. Wee bit of noise at night due to close proximity of bars but earplugs were provided so wasn’t really an issue
