The room is cozy and very clean. The room is on the main street of the village and traffic noise can be heard.

Service was excellent. The staff were professional and friendly. I would recommend the Rose and Crown to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Plymouth area.

The location is right, and the staff were very friendly. I stayed in a first‑floor room and felt the cost was justified by the experience, but the room was damp and small. The bathroom was unclean, with damp marks on the walls that were dirty, the toilet seat was loose, and coffee pods were not refilled. See above.

The pub was lovely. The food took quite a while to arrive, so the staff were clearing up for the evening while we were waiting. The en‑suite was tiny and the shower was not especially clean.
