The host was super welcoming and friendly, and the rooms were beautiful. Breakfast was excellent, and since it was our first B&B on the trip we were really impressed. The location is great for visiting the Black Isle and nearby spots. The only downside was that we wished there’d been a standing shower; instead there was a bathtub with a spray handle and no shower curtain.

We loved the quiet, country‑like setting and the amazing breakfast: Leila’s homemade banana bread, sourdough, a beautifully arranged table of croissants, muesli‑yoghurt with fresh fruit, fruit juice, a cooked breakfast, and excellent coffee—an absolute feast. David was a great local guide, pointing out where to eat, tourist spots, and how to stay on quieter roads, which we appreciated. We didn’t find anything we disliked, just wished we’d booked longer.

The place was very beautiful, the room cozy and clean, and the breakfast excellent. The owners—two fantastic, very friendly people—gave us plenty of useful travel tips. And to top it off, two wonderful, sweet dogs were eager for cuddles.
